The Credit Union Foundation Appoints New Manager

The Credit Union Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of Lucille Harvey as its new Manager.

Lucille has a range of experience in the public sector and third sector. As well as long-standing involvement in the credit union sector, having been a volunteer and director with her local credit union in Liverpool for many years. She is also a graduate of the two learning programmes the Foundation currently delivers – CU Futures and Credit Union Development Education (DE Europe).

The Foundation focuses on developing educational programmes for those working or volunteering in credit unions, helping them enhance their skills to better serve their communities. In addition, it provides critical grants and support to credit unions, enabling them to expand their reach and impact.

Lucille Harvey, Manager of the Credit Union Foundation, said: “I am delighted to join the Credit Union Foundation as Manager. I am particularly excited to be involved in current projects such as the CU Futures programme, which last year celebrated its 10-year milestone, and to help create new and innovative initiatives that will further strengthen and develop the credit union movement across the country.

“Having recently graduated from the Credit Union Development Education (DE Europe) programme in 2025, I am eager to apply the insights and knowledge gained to support credit unions in delivering meaningful impact to their communities.”
