This notice is for our online community users who are provided access through their membership of the Association of British Credit Unions Limited (ABCUL). How we use your personal information
ABCUL uses your personal data to register your account and allow you to access member-only areas of our website and online community.
Information we process
We will process your name, contact details, the credit union you work for and your role in your credit union. We may also store further information about if you voluntarily provide this to your personal profile or through your use of the online community.
Legal basis for processing
We will only process your data where we have a legal basis in accordance to data protection law. For our website our legal bases are:
- Where processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are a party
- Where it is necessary for our legitimate interests (or those of a third party) and your interests and fundamental rights do not override those interest

Retaining your information

We will share your information with our third party suppliers in order to help us provide the ABCUL Academy service to you or assist you. We only permit them to process your data for under our instruction and for the purposes specified by us and we do not allow them to use your data for their own purposes.
