The Young Professionals Network (YPN) will once again host its flagship event at the upcoming ABCUL Annual Conference, providing young professionals with an invaluable opportunity for interactive discussions and networking. In an exciting development, YPN has awarded four places to young professionals following an application process within ABCUL membership to attend the 2025 conference event.

YPN Chair Emily Alexander, from The Penny Post Group, expressed enthusiasm for the initiative, stating: “We are thrilled to host another dynamic event for our members in Leeds next month. It is also a privilege to sponsor four conference places, reinforcing our commitment to bringing young professionals together from across the country. This initiative aligns with our ethos of fostering connections, sharing ideas, and facilitating professional growth.”

The event agenda includes a High-Energy Ice Breaker session led by Andrew Davey from The Co-op Credit Union and an empowering workshop with Penny Ford from Brilliant Beyond Belief. Leadership and high-performance coach Penny Ford will equip attendees with the tools to break through limiting beliefs, build confidence, and accelerate their career growth. Participants will gain insights into effective communication, bold decision-making, and strategies for professional advancement.

“This is an incredible opportunity to connect, learn, and grow within a supportive community of like-minded professionals,” Alexander added. “We look forward to welcoming attendees to an inspiring and energising event.”
