Next week (July 22-24) the program will be hosting virtual events that will connect young professionals from across the globe.

The 2020 World Council Young Credit Union Professionals (WYCUP) Virtual Forum will feature three days of informative and engaging webinars:

The Global Relevance of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion –  This session will discuss the ever-important topic of DEI by focusing on the global perspective of how we can better advocate for humans, institutionalize inclusion and ensure equities to all our member communities.

Changing the World Through Youth Engagement –  The 2019 WYCUP Scholarship winners will talk about lessons learned, how WYCUP has impacted their journey and their plans for the future.

Leading Forward Through Adversity – In this session led by eLeadership Academy’s Sandra McDowell, an expert in the applied neuroscience of leadership, WYCUP’s young credit union professionals will learn why fear impairs the brain, and how to refocus to boost positive impact and well-being.

In the last 9 years, WYCUP has become a platform for over 1,000 emerging credit union professionals from 93 countries, including current scholarship recipients, past scholarship nominees and alumni, worldwide to connect and share..

Speaking of his experience participating in WYCUP, CEO of Serve & Protect CU, Paul Norgrove said: “Being from a developing credit union sector in the United Kingdom, the experience totally changed my perspective on what we could achieve. The networking opportunities created invaluable contacts for sharing ideas and best practices.”

Attendance for the 2020 WYCUP Virtual Forum is free and you can register here.
