Wolverhampton City Credit Union (WCCU) is delighted to announce that it has expanded its common bond to serve wider communities across the Dudley postcode area.

The expansion marks a significant step forward in our growth strategy for Wolverhampton City Credit Union. Reporting in its annual report, WCCU now serves over 10,000 members, creating savings of over £4 million.

WCCU CEO, Tameka Spencer said: “We are excited to restore access to a Credit Union in the Dudley community, giving new members a brighter financial future by providing ethical, honest and fair savings and loans.”

Speaking to members at their recent AGM, Chair of WCCU, Steve Cartwright said: “I will highlight that at the core of any credit union is our community. You, the members, are the lifeblood of our organisation, and your continued support is what will fuel our success.

“For our part, we remain steadfast in our vision to grow the business by reaching more members through targeted community engagement, partnering with key local businesses and continuing to offer of fair, ethical and inclusive banking services to all members of our community.
