“We are all in this together” says Pentecostal Credit Union as it continues to support key workers

Like many lenders, the Pentecostal Credit Union (PCU) has members who are adversely impacted by Covid 19 and understand what this means for their lives.  This is why the credit union has developed an approach to not only ease the financial responsibilities that members have, but also to support them through these challenges.

Like many lenders, the Pentecostal Credit Union (PCU) has members who are adversely impacted by Covid 19 and understand what this means for their lives.  This is why the credit union has developed an approach to not only ease the financial responsibilities that members have, but also to support them through these challenges.

The credit union has developed a resource page on its website dedicated to information about the government packages available. In a statement on its website, PCU state: “ We are helping our members who are facing theses challenges to steer through what’s available and find the most appropriate benefits and grants for them, and how to access them.”

The Credit Union has also launched its Key Worker/Church Ministry Worker Loan . This loan product has been developed to enable PCU to demonstrate the value that it places on the work that key workers have been doing and continuing to do during the Coronavirus pandemic. Loans are available on the same terms as all PCU loans , but will be offered to eligible applicants at a rate starting from 4% APR.

Chief Executive of PCU, Shane Bowes said: “We are all in this together, we understand what you are experiencing, and are doing all that we can to assist those of our members adversely financially affected by the pandemic.

“In this time of crisis and uncertainty, we remain committed to providing the best service that we can to our members, which includes being as flexible and as compassionate as we can be, as we all cope with the challenges presented by Covid 19.”
