Wave Community Bank Triumphs with Three Major Award Wins

The celebrations began on Thursday 20 November at the Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce Awards, where Wave Community Bank won the Excellence in Customer Service Award. Community Engagement Officer for Kent, Jennifer Sutton, proudly accepted the award at the Chamber’s gala dinner, emphasising that the accolade reflects the efforts of the entire operational team.

Jennifer highlighted the everyday dedication of staff who support members directly, including colleagues such as Becky Tomkins in the Maidstone office.

But the celebrations didn’t end in Kent. Wave Community Bank also won two prestigious titles at the Sussex Business Awards – Community Hero and Professional Services. These awards span both East and West Sussex, making Wave’s double win an outstanding achievement in an incredibly competitive field.

The Community Hero Award reflects Wave’s long-standing commitment to improving financial wellbeing, supporting vulnerable households and strengthening local communities. The Professional Services Award further recognises Wave’s high standards, innovation and member-centred approach.
