Wave Community Bank are Winners in Innovation & Excellence Awards

Wave Community Bank have been announced as a winner of the Credit Union of the Year category in the Corporate LiveWire Innovation and Excellence Awards 2022.

The awards celebrate the success and achievements of leading professionals and companies who have stood out for being results driven, service focused and most importantly, taken an innovative approach to demonstrate exceptional business performance.

With such a broad range of businesses being recognised, Corporate LiveWire look at each case individually and assess how the team have harnessed more effective processes, products, or ideas in order to transform their industry for the better, increase profits, and/or offer a more successful service.

Leading up to being awarded the award, the credit union rebranded from East Sussex Credit Union to Wave Community Bank. The rebrand was driven by a desire to have a name that would reflect their work in the local community, and to attract younger members looking for a local ethical financial service. Most recently, Wave Community Bank  announced that it has reached a milestone of £4.5 million in savings. This amount is a 7.05% increase from last year’s total which shows the enormous effort that its members are making in order to contribute to their ethical savings accounts with the credit union.
