Three Industry Experts to Headline in World Credit Union Conference in Glasgow

World Council of Credit Unions has secured three world-renowned speakers for the 2022 World Credit Union Conference – co-hosted by ABCUL in Glasgow, Scotland. Credit union executives from 60 countries are expected to attend the conference in July, which will focus on leadership, cybersecurity, digital technologies and the future of financial services.

The keynote speakers include:

Ian Khan is Future Readiness pioneer. A highly prolific thought leader who has worked with clients in the finance, banking, HighTech, manufacturing and credit union industries. He is the creator of the Future Readiness Score and has been featured on the BBC, CNN, Fox, Bloomberg, Forbes and other mainstream media outlets. The Future Readiness Score is a highly impactful organisational metric to measure and achieve future-readiness. He is also a documentary filmmaker and specializes in technology films on key disruptive topics, including Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence, Future of Work and other emerging areas.

Keren Elazari is an internationally recognised cybersecurity analyst, author and researcher with more than 20 years of experience in the cybersecurity field. Keren covers emerging security technologies and trends as an independent strategic advisor, working with leading technology providers, government agencies, innovative start-ups and Fortune 500 companies. In 2014, Keren became the first Israeli woman to speak at the prestigious TED Conference. Keren’s talk has been viewed by millions, translated to 30 languages, chosen for TED’s ‘Most Powerful Ideas’ and is one of TED’s most watched talks on the topic of cybersecurity and hacking.

Belinda Parmar uses the science of empathy to change the way we lead at work. She is the creator of the Global Empathy Index published in the Harvard Business Review, which is the first index to measure empathy and inclusion at scale. She works alongside CEOs and leaders of large organizations to transform companies using the power of empathy in a post-COVID world. Belinda changes cultures to bring more empowerment to people’s lives with a focus on belonging and diversity. Belinda is an expert in behavioural science and nudge theory, and works with large companies to implement hundreds of ‘empathy nudges’ that organically build an empathy revolution and give people simple, practical ways they can bring more empathy to work.
