The Penny Post Group – A Year After Merger with Voyager

The Penny Post Group is celebrating the first anniversary of The Penny Post Group – when Penny Post, and Voyager Alliance and Retail CU joined forces to benefit their members.

It has been an exciting year working together to grow membership, investing in its technology, and improving overall service to all its members, old and new.

CEO of Penny Post, Matt Goulding said: “Penny Post has always had ambition growth plans. The transfer of engagements and forming The Penny Post Group was an opportunity of a lifetime, giving both credit unions the chance to jointly expand their business and product range to benefit all members. We’re looking forward to a bright future ahead.”

Key achievements completed following the merger have been:

• Welcomed eight new Team members across Customer Service, Finance and Payroll, Communications and Development to improve service to members
• Its development team has hosted Wellbeing Events across the country
• Regularly posting news to entertain members and keep them up to date across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn.

“We have more exciting developments planned for 2023 to make our credit union bigger, brighter, bolder and better for everyone. Our members are at the heart of everything we do,” Matt added.

Operations Manager, Maria Hughes said: “It has been a big year for us with lots of positive changes! Growing our team has meant members can get in touch with us easily and we have been able to increase our presence online and in-person. We’re looking forward to the future, increasing our membership and helping even more members with their financial wellbeing.”
