The Penny Post Group is thrilled to share its recent success at the 2024 In-Comm Awards, after being honoured in two categories at the prestigious event celebrating the UK’s top learners and employers.
During the awards celebrations in June, a member of the credit union’s Customer Service Team, Caitlin was awarded the Business Support Learner of the Year 2024. Caitlin has recently completed her apprenticeship with flying colours and is now a permanent, invaluable member of the team. Caitlin’s journey from apprentice to award-winner is a true testament to her hard work and dedication.
Adding to the excitement, The Penny Post Group were also a finalist in the highly competitive SME Employer of the Year category.
“Our commitment to our apprentices has been marked by numerous awards, including the National Apprenticeship Awards and being awarded ‘Highly Commended’ in the West Midlands Region for the past four year,” says a spokesperson for the Penny Post Group. “Just last year, we proudly took home the Apprenticeship Champion Award and the Black Country Ladder Awards for Small Employer.
“It was fantastic to celebrate the vibrant contributions our apprentices have made to Penny Post. Their fresh ideas are invaluable, and we are proud that each one of our apprentices has stayed with us in a permanent role after completing their courses.”
