ABCUL’s annual credit union survey has revealed that satisfaction levels with the Association continue to rise. The Net Promoter Score, which is calculated by taking the percentage of respondents who would strongly recommend ABCUL membership and subtracting those who wouldn’t increase significantly this year, to 63 points, a rise of 54 since 2014,and the highest ever score.

Commenting on the survey results, ABCUL CEO, Robert Kelly said: “I am delighted to see continued improvement in members’ satisfaction with the Association. As a member-owned co-operative it’s vital that we are listening to our members and delivering their priorities.”

This is the 9th year running that the Board has carried out a survey of both ABCUL member and non-member credit unions. The aim of the survey, which was carried out by an independent agency, is to gauge satisfaction with ABCUL products and services, monitor policies delegated to the Chief Executive by the ABCUL Board, and to learn more about the priorities and concerns of credit unions. 88% credit unions said ABCUL membership offers good value for money and 96%of members said it was likely they would renew.

“We are confident that our ABCUL membership offers great value and service to credit unions of all sizes across Britain and look forward to continuing to build on the improvements we have made in the years to come.”
