Metro Moneywise Credit Union Reaches Milestone Number of New Members

Metro Moneywise Credit Union is an employer-based credit union in Rochdale which has experienced a record-breaking year. Metro Moneywise Credit Union has achieved their highest number of new members this year as they welcomed over 1000 new members by the end of August 2023. Nearing the end of their financial year, the 1000 member mark will be exceeded which is a 32% increase on the credit union’s previous best year.

The credit union has been working hard to engage with their payroll partners and the Metro Moneywise Credit Union staff have attended many wellbeing staffing events which they attribute much of their success to. Furthermore, the credit union welcomed the National Care Group as a new payroll partner which brought in 155 new members. The strongest area of growth in credit union membership at Metro Moneywise Credit Union has been across the NHS where they welcomed over 480 new members in total.

Now with over 60 payroll partners in place, Metro Moneywise Credit Union hope to exceed their growth milestone next year.
