Friends of Enterprise Raise Over £100k for Community Groups

Back in November 2021 Friends of Enterprise was established to benefit the local community and members of Enterprise Credit Union (ECU) . Since then, the lottery draw has grown in size every month with over £100, 000 raised in community donations.

Back in November 2021 Friends of Enterprise was established to benefit the local community and members of Enterprise Credit Union (ECU) . Since then, the lottery draw has grown in size every month with over £100, 000 raised in community donations.

Since its establishment, the Friends of Enterprise lottery has given out 106 donations to Merseyside community groups totalling over £100,000 and an equal sum has been paid out to 128 prize-winning members. The first Friends of Enterprise lottery had 1,615 entries which has now risen to over 8,850 entries and the cost for an entry is just £1 with a maximum of 10 entries each month.

Chief Executive of ECU, Karen Bennett said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to see ‘Friends of Enterprise’ surpassing £100,000. This initiative showcases the community spirit at Enterprise Credit Union, benefiting both our members and local community groups. It’s about creating positive change together, and we’re proud to be a part of it!”
