Launching this week (Monday 25 January), East Sussex Credit Union will be the first credit union to offer the Quo Money app to all its members for free.
Quo Money is an innovative money manager app that helps users learn financial skills whilst managing their own money. With three simple steps, Quo Money does all the hard work to create an accurate financial plan and coaches users with daily nudges designed to help them build savings and clear debt. After using the app for just a few minutes a day, users start to feel empowered about money, as Quo Money takes the complexity out of money management and puts users in control.
Emma Norledge, Deputy CEO of East Sussex Credit Union, said: “We have been working with Quo Money for two years now as they have been developing this brilliant behavioural app and we are thrilled to be able to offer it to our members for free for the first six months. We hope our members will grab the opportunity to use this innovative tool to help them understand their own relationship with money and how they spend. More than ever people are looking to maximise their income and we hope this app will benefit all our members.”
Matthew Vernon, CEO of Quo Money, said: “Other financial apps are good at telling users what they have spent their money on but unlike Quo Money do not provide a detailed forecast of what their future financial situation will be. By providing this clarity we can help people manage their money much more effectively, and the behavioural science built into the app helps them achieve their goals.
“Our relationship with ESCU has helped us to improve and refine the app. I am delighted it is now going to be available to help improve the money management skills of all their members.”
