Friday 5 December 2025
Croydon, Merton & Sutton Credit Union Ltd, currently trading as CroydonPlus Credit Union, has announced an exciting rebrand that has taken effect on 1st December 2025.
From this date, the organisation will officially begin trading as Your Community Bank – a new name that places members and community at the very heart of its identity.
The rebrand marks a significant milestone for the credit union, which has proudly served its members for more than 25 years. The new name and branding reflect both the growth of the organisation and its ongoing commitment to providing safe, ethical, and accessible financial services to local people across Croydon, Merton, and Sutton.
Michael Wilson, CEO of Croydon, Merton & Sutton Credit Union, explained: “Becoming Your Community Bank represents our evolution, but it doesn’t change who we are. It’s a name that better reflects our members, our values, and the role we play in supporting financial wellbeing within our communities.”
As the organisation has grown and developed, its scope has expanded well beyond Croydon, prompting the need for a name that encapsulates its community-wide purpose and inclusive ethos.
“Our new name better reflects who we are and who we serve,” said Victoria Copeland, Chair of the Board (Croydon, Merton & Sutton Credit Union), “But at our core, we remain the same people-focused, values-driven organisation that members have trusted for over two decades.”
