Credit Unions Invited to Enter Consumer Credit Awards

For a consecutive year at the sixth Consumer Credit Awards, run by Smart Money People, there is two dedicated credit union categories at the annual award ceremony.

Jacqueline Dewey, CEO of Smart Money People said, “The last 12 months have been incredibly challenging. Like all other financial service industries, the credit industry has had to respond to new ways of working and demand from customers who may have experienced a change in their finances. The Consumer Credit Awards 2021 will be a testament to those firms who have responded well to the challenges faced and left their customers with positive outcomes.”

Half of the awards in the Smart Money People Consumer Credit Awards 2020 were awarded to credit unions, with five named among the winners:

Customer Service Champion: Sheffield Credit Union

Treating Customers Fairly Champion: Central Liverpool Credit Union

Healthy Culture Champion: NHS Credit Union

Best Credit Union (South): Plane Saver Credit Union

Best Credit Union (North): Glasgow Credit Union
