This week Commsave Credit Union announced the significant milestone of serving 35,000 members.

Commsave thanked their Reps and members who referred eligible family members, friends and work colleagues for the accomplishment. Commsave also expressed thanks to those who have stayed members throughout the years.

Richard Munro, Interim CEO at Commsave said: “We’re delighted that we have reached this significant milestone, which is helping to deliver our vision of a world where everyone is financially included, with access to a safe place to save and access to responsible credit, with financial skills to manage their money wisely and achieve long-term wellbeing.

“We continue to work with payroll partners both old and new to deliver our services to a wider range of members.  Our community engagement activities are focussed on supporting members through the cost-of-living pressures we all face and delivering on our co-operative values of People Helping people.”

ABCUL extend a huge congratulations to Commsave for this achievement and thank them for the amazing work they do to help progress the sector. The Bank of England’s most recent quarterly data reported a total of 1.3 million credit union members (including junior depositors) in Great Britain- a number that continues to rise year-on-year.
