The past month has been an exciting time for Commsave Credit Union with the welcoming of its new CEO and the launch of the new ‘Commsave Supports’ grants scheme.
Earlier this week, Commsave Credit Union proudly announced the appointment of its new Chief Executive Officer, Dominic Masterson. Dominic takes over the helm following the departure of Amanda Ivey after a successful tenure of 18 years.
Dominic shared plans for the future which include developing green loans, online tools to improve people’s financial wellbeing, a financial education programme for young people, and new offices to support growth.
Dominic has 35 years of experience working in the financial services sector and he said: “I am looking forward to using my knowledge, experience and networks to increase membership and build financial resilience for our Commsave members”.
The Northampton-based business has not only moved forward with its leadership, but it also launched a new grants scheme ‘Commsave Supports’.
On July 31st Commsave launched its new grants scheme which will see at least three £500 cheques award to Northamptonshire charities and good causes during the 2023-24 football season.
Fans of the Club are invited to nominate a charity or cause close to their heart through Commsave’s commitment to supporting the football club and its fans.
James Richards, Business Development Manager at Commsave, said: “Commsave Supports is a grants scheme exclusively for the club’s supporters and we are encouraging fans to nominate a local cause they really care about.
“We are really proud to be the club’s official training wear partner and this is another way we can support our county, the club and its incredible supporters.”
Caroline Lucy, Commercial Director of Northampton Town Football Club added: “We are very grateful to Commsave for this new scheme. As a club, we are at the very heart of the Northamptonshire community and this is a fantastic way for the club and Commsave to reach good causes that help improve the lives of Cobblers supporters.
“There are so many fantastic causes that deserve support and we look forward to seeing some of the great causes put forward for consideration.”
