Blues & Twos Credit Union Celebrate Successes

Blues & Twos Credit Union is a work-based employer credit union for the emergency services, teaching services and local-government across North West England. The credit union staff have worked hard over the past financial year which paid off as over 1,100 new members joined Blues & Twos Credit Union in a year.

Furthermore, the credit union helped over 1,300 members with loans in the past financial year, which totaled £4 million. The amount lent to members in a year has established a new record for the credit union.

“Our hard-working professional staff team and our loyal members are everything.” said Vicky Harrison, CEO of Blues & Twos Credit Union. Vicky added: “This year hasn’t been without its challenges with the increasing cost of living and higher interest rates for mortgages and higher rents.”

To further support members, Vicky said: “We are regularly reviewing what we do to offer our members a high level of service and product range. [Also], we are doing all we can to offer our members a competitive dividend to reflect members’ expectations for their easy access regular savings.”
