ABCUL is delighted to add President and CEO of the World Council of Credit Unions, Brian Branch to its agenda for next month’s ABCUL annual conference 2020.
Brian Branch was appointed in President and CEO of WOCCU in 2011 and has worked at World Council since 1990 and has been engaged in development fieldwork, research and implementation for more than 30 years.
“On behalf of everyone at ABCUL we are delighted to welcome WOCCU President and CEO, Brian Branch to next month’s annual conference event,” says ABCUL CEO, Robert Kelly.
Brian will speak to delegates of the conference in a plenary session about how the British sector corresponds to the international credit union movement.
“Coming to the ABCUL AGM is a great pleasure after working so closely with ABCUL for many years,” says Brian Branch. “I am delighted to speak next month to British credit unions, but just as delighted to hear from them, so that we can share their experience and vision for the future with our international family. WOCCU and ABCUL have a valuable partnership which helps both of us better serve our members in the face of challenges that we face today.”
Robert Kelly added: “WOCCU has been a tremendous asset to our Association and our members over many years, through global learning and development and participation in their annual conference – we look forward to Brian being an integral part of our event next month and thank WOCCU for its continued support. We are also delighted to confirm that the WOCCU Conference will be returning to Glasgow in the summer of 2021 – more details will be shared very soon.”
