Credit Unions of Wales Awards 2022 will once more be sponsored by ABCUL’s Welsh forum of credit unions.
Once again, the awards will celebrate the contribution made by volunteers, members, schools and partner employers to the success of the credit union movement in Wales.
Following two-years of virtual presentation ceremonies due to Covid-19 lockdown, this year’s awards will be held at The Pierhead Building in Cardiff Bay on October 20, which is International Credit Union Day.
Robert Kelly, Chief Executive of ABCUL, said: “All over the world, credit unions are there building communities and helping people manage their finances and improve their future.
“The ABCUL Cymru forum is delighted to sponsor the awards as a way to celebrate all that’s great about credit unions in Wales. The awards showcase the different ways in which Welsh credit unions are making a real difference in the communities we serve and are a chance to say thank you to our partners and volunteers – we couldn’t do it without them.”
