ABCUL Announce Dates for the Return of its Annual Conference

This week, ABCUL CEO Robert Kelly announced the return of the ABCUL Annual Conference to Manchester on Friday 18 & Saturday 19 March 2022. The conference takes place in March each year and is the largest gathering of credit union personnel in Britain. It attracts over 300 delegates and high-profile speakers nationally and internationally.

“It is my pleasure to announce on behalf of the ABCUL Board and staff team that our annual conference and AGM returns next year in Manchester at the Midland Hotel on the 18th and 19th March 2022,” says ABCUL CEO, Robert Kelly.

Due to the 2021 face-to-face event being cancelled due to restrictions caused by the coronavirus pandemic, the Association held a two-day virtual event for members. Robert added: “The two-day virtual event held in March 2021 was a tremendous success welcoming over 600 credit union professionals for a range of different online inputs and sessions. Our attention now turns to continue our flagship annual in-person event which is the largest gathering of credit union professionals in Britain.”

“The conference offers a unique and exciting networking experience and due to the virtual environment that our members have worked in over the past two years, it will make this long-awaited event even more special. We hope as many of our member credit unions as possible can attend our headline event in March 2022.”
