In a landmark year for 1st Class Credit Union, its recently appointed CEO, Gayle Adnyana has set out the credit union’s priorities out for the year ahead which in itself is a 30th anniversary of service to members.
Over the last two years and since the pandemic, the Board have worked even harder to ensure that its 9,000+ members are its priority and as such, it has seen a move away from the paper-based process to a much faster and sleeker IT based process.
“In the weeks and months to come we will also be refreshing our business plan, our mission, vision, and values and will endeavour at every step of the way to make this an inclusive process for our members,” says CEO, Gayle Adnyana.
Plans are in place to produce a social impact report to demonstrate the vital work 1st Class Credit Union and are also advocating for local credit union ambassadors and workplace reps that will help promote 1st Class and the common bond they serve.
“My team and I would like to wish our outgoing CEO Andy Wright very best wishes in his retirement,” Gayle added. “We all thank him for his outstanding contribution to the Credit Union movement and for his vigour in developing 1st Class Credit Union. Lastly my colleagues and I would like to thank our Chairman and Board for their ongoing and unstinting support as we navigate the year ahead. I wish all our members and colleagues a happy, healthy, peaceful, and abundant 2022.”
