100 Million Reasons to Celebrate for NHS Credit Union

The NHS Credit Union is celebrating two incredible milestones, as lending and membership levels both hit an all-time high.

Figures just released confirm that total lending to members of the credit union since it was launched in 1998 has now gone through the £100m barrier.

In addition, membership of the rapidly-growing organisation has now topped 19,000.

Ruth Dorman, CEO of NHS Credit Union said:  “What a way to celebrate my first anniversary, with the NHS Credit Union achieving these momentous milestones. A big thank-you goes out to every member, volunteer and all staff, past and present. Without all of you we could never have achieved these incredible figures.”

Since November 1998, the NHS Credit Union has been helping health staff and their families take care of their own financial health across Scotland & the north of England. With new products being rolled out and membership going from strength to strength the NHS Credit Union continues to pride itself on providing its members with a personal, professional and friendly service.
