ABCUL is currently preparing our response to HM Treasury’s consultation CP25/22 – Modernising the Redress System. As part of this, we want to highlight concerns raised by many of our member credit unions regarding complaints referred to the Financial Ombudsman Service, particularly where upheld decisions have referenced CONC rules.
To strengthen our response, we’re gathering examples from credit unions that have been impacted by such decisions. If your credit union has experienced an upheld complaint involving a reference to CONC and you’re willing to share the details, please contact us at Advocacy@abcul.org.
Your input will help us advocate more effectively on behalf of the sector.
