Please not this is the same survey as promoted in the ABCUL Members Bulletin

ABCUL, in partnership with the Association of Financial Mutuals, the Building Society Association, and Co-operative UK have commissioned WPI Economics, a policy and economics consultancy, to conduct research on the economic benefit of mutuals, co-operatives and EOBs, and the potential gain from improving the availability of financing for the sector.

This is part of the group’s development agenda for doubling the size of the co-operatives and mutuals sector with a clear objective to influence the Labour Government’s strategic policy in this key area.

As part of the research, ABCUL invites its members to complete a stakeholder survey. The survey was created and will be analysed independently by WPI Economics.

The research will culminate in a written report that will build the case for enabling faster growth of mutuals and removing barriers to funding. Members views are critical to shaping the direction of the research.
