Hello,
We’ve recently started to be hit by pages impersonating us on Facebook, and responding to members on our posts pretending to be us and trying to phish them. They’ll set themselves up as something innocuous such as a butchers, and then immediately copy our profile and change their name. It’s very obvious they’re fake, members see through them and I’ve been blocking and reporting them but it’s frustrating having to go through 200 comments deleting the same reply on each one.
Does anyone have any idea how I can stop it happening in the first place? I know I could lock down who can reply but that defeats the purpose of the posts, which are to drive up engagement from folk who don’t already follow us.
Cheers
