    Dear all,

Nominations for vacancies on the ABCUL Board must be received by Wednesday 8th January.

Nominations are needed from across the country, in all three of the new constituencies

Nominations can be made by credit unions, Forums, Special Interest Groups, as well as by self-nomination. Support, induction and expenses are provided in return for your knowledge, skills and experience.

The new Board Structure means that there are different criteria for each seat in a three-year cycle. This year, nominations are being sought from employees, elected officers and significant volunteers (qualifying individuals) for the following vacancies:

    Constituency
1 – Scotland, Yorkshire, North East – Seat C (any
qualifying individual who meets criteria developed by ABCUL Inclusivity Group to address underrepresentation – there is a wide range of criteria include those relating to ethnic identity, class background, age, sexuality and credit union type).

    Constituency
2 – Wales, North West, East Midlands and West Midlands – Seat B
(any qualifying individual who is a woman)

    Constituency
3 – London, South East, South West, East of England –
TWO vacancies – Seat A (any qualifying individual) and Seat B (any
qualifying individual who is a woman)

ABCUL needs a diverse board so that it can set the right strategy for all its members. Please consider putting yourself forward, or supporting a colleague to do so. Much more information is available here and you can contact boardenquiries@abcul.org or abbie.shelton@abcul.org with any questions.

    Best wishes,

    Abbie
