Death of a member

    Hi

    We have a deceased member who has shares of just over £10,000. She has nominated her daughter as beneficiary, there is no solicitor involved or any grant of probate.

    The guidance isn’t really clear on whether we can pay the whole of the £10,000 to her daughter.

    Any advice?
