Dear all,
Please note that the deadline to nominate for the current vacancy on the ABCUL Board in Constituency Three is this Thursday, 24th April.
Nominations are invited from elected officers, employees or significant
volunteers in ABCUL credit unions with their registered office in
London, the South East, the South West or the East of England.Much more information is available on the ABCUL Board and Nominations Page, where you can also find links to the two forms that need to be completed for each nomination – one by the nominee and one by the nominator (credit union, Forum, SIG or self-nomination).
This is a Seat C vacancy, so all candidates must meet A MINIMUM OF ONE (not all) of seven different criteria designed to address underrepresentation on the ABCUL Board. Please note that these are not publicised to the electorate. If you meet any of the following criteria, you qualify for nomination:

2 – Social background – from a working-class family background (not raised in a family with a professional / managerial main wage earner) – OR
3 – LGBTQ+ (lesbian, gay, bi, trans, queer/questioning and more) – identifies as LGBTQ+ – OR
4 – Ethnic Identity – Does NOT identify as White British, White English, White Scottish, White Welsh, White Northern Irish – OR

6 – Smaller credit union – Is involved with a credit union where assets are below £4 million – OR
7 – Community or Associational credit union – Is involved with a credit union with a community or associational common bond.
Please do get in touch if you have any questions.
