CMutual Product Withdrawal – Update

Hello,
We have been working closely with CMutual around the announcement that the FPP product will be withdrawn from the market, after the insurer has closed this side of the business.
CMutual have been in contact with those credit unions affected directly and are working on a plan to provide alternative options where these are available.
They held an informative session to cover the key details around this decision and the planned next steps.
They informed us that a follow-up communication and update is expected to be sent to members next week.
In the meantime, there are 23 credit unions attending the conference who this will directly impact, and CMutual are happy to connect with these members where this is welcomed. ABCUL have distributed an email from CMutual with the opportunity to book a slot and talk over any concerns you may have directly with the team.
For those unable to attend the conference, we are working closely with CMutual and will provide an opportunity in the coming days to ensure you have a platform to raise your concerns and to hear any vital updates from CMutual. This is challenging for affected member credit unions to navigate, and we want to make sure more than anything that members receive accurate and clear support, both from CMutual and ABCUL.
The ABCUL Board and staff team are taking this matter very seriously and will be actively supporting members through this process of transition.
