    It is ABCUL policy to pursue the development of a CFF and they have raised the issue with the Labour Government.

    My question is should we have one CFF for each region or just one for the UK.

    One for each region may be better at reinforcing regional development.

    Northeren Ireland accounts for about half of the credit union activity in the UK leaving us with about £600M to invest for the rest of the UK.

    It seems to me that initially we should have one for the whole country but as the level of funds increases and we develop some expertise look to have regional CFFs.
