    Dear Member,

We are delighted to confirm that the London & South of England Forum is again able to offer an advanced learning event for experienced directors and CEOs. This is being run in collaboration with two of the country’s most experienced and popular experts in credit union governance, Paul A Jones and Nick Money, both working with the Swoboda Centre.

The event will run in London on 13 April, at The Wesley Hotel, close to Euston Station.

Our inaugural advanced director training held last year was extremely popular, so please book your place promptly.

The cost is being subsidised from Forum funds to make the event very affordable at just £50 per person for a full day’s training (non-refundable).

L&SE Forum covered the training development and funds other costs for the day not covered by the delegate rate.

The training will explore a range of key governance issues in depth and in a way to promote transformation and continuous improvement at board level.

Attendees should expect to gain a deeper understanding of:

    <ul type=”disc”>

  • what
it means to be a director on a credit union board.
  • the
behaviours of effective directors and boards.
  • the
why and how of building productive relationships between board and
    management.
  • how
high performing boards manage debate, disagreement and conflict.
  • why
and how boards need to keep focused on strategic goals and on continuous
    improvement.
  • the
role of boards in setting the tone and culture in the organisation.
  • Swoboda’s training is participative, and by being prepared to share ideas and experiences, delegates will learn from each other as well as from the facilitators.

Click here to register for the event.

If we are over-subscribed, priority on bookings will be given to credit unions that are part of the London & South of England Forum.

    Many thanks.
