Plane Saver Credit Union, one of the largest credit unions in the UK, has just announced it has hit 15,000 active members.

Plane Saver has been helping its members since 1993, providing financial services to employees of organisations including British Airways and the Ministry of Defence.

With now over 15,000 members, Plane Saver has seen record membership growth in this year across its payroll partners.

The credit union has seen a sharp rise in members within the Armed Forces community after their new brand First Defence Finance was launched earlier this year.

A 5 Star Fairbanking Mark holder for their Personal Loan, Plane Saver is proud to be an ethical alternative to high cost lenders, especially during increasingly uncertain economic times.

Valerie Walwyn-Tait, Plane Saver Credit Union’s Chief Executive Officer, stated “We’d like to thank all of our members for putting their trust in the credit union as their financial services provider of choice.

“My team and I are very proud of this latest milestone in our rich history. We will continue our commitment, to provide our members with an excellent service that helps to improve their lives and that of their families.”
