Last month, Police Credit Union celebrated Armed Forces Day by reaching the 3,000 milestone for their military membership.
This market now makes up 10% of their total membership – with over £12.5 million in loans issued to Service Personnel. Police CU has recently launched tailored brands for each of the core markets they serve – Police CU, Military CU and Prison CU.
This is in line with their long term vision to help improve the financial resilience of all those that ‘Serve and Protect’ the nation.
“We made the decision to simplify our product offering and branding, stripping everything back to focus on what we do best – helping our members to save, but making sure they know we are there for them should they need to borrow,” says CEO of Police CU, Paul Norgrove.
“The results have been fantastic – with increased membership and loan growth in all areas,” says Paul.
