This allows Credit Unions to benchmark their performance year-on-year and lets them keep track (anonymously) of how they are performing in comparison with other credit unions regionally and nationally.
This collaboration will allow ABCUL credit union members to evidence that they are delivering positive outcomes to their members in line with the Consumer Duty. This will also provide Consumer Duty Champions with quarterly metrics-based data for boards from individual dynamic dashboards. This will bring increased cohesion to the credit union movement to further modernise already solid foundations.

ABCUL is pleased to support the Performance Metrics Ltd Member Sentiment Awards, an initiative designed to honour the exceptional commitment of credit unions to uphold Consumer Duty standards.
These awards are not affiliated with ABCUL’s conference awards ceremony and will be part of the Friday evening celebrations during the conference weekend, offering a dedicated platform to celebrate the values, behaviours, and standards that make a credit union an essential part of its community.
Anonymous member feedback will shape these awards, highlighting the member-first culture that sets credit unions apart. The credit union with the best member sentiment score will receive a contribution of up to £1,500 to send a staff member to join ABCUL at a prestigious international credit union conference event later in 2025.
Key Dates to Remember:
- Sunday 02 December 2024: Member Sentiment Survey opens
- 07 March 2025: Survey submissions close
- 15 March 2025: Presentation of the awards during the conference weekend (not during the Saturday night ceremony).
