Fostering Inclusivity
ABCUL’s primary purpose and function is providing member credit unions with the tools, skills, and powers to succeed and deliver on their co-operative values, regardless of size or business model. At the heart of this core mission is a commitment to foster inclusivity across board level, staff and throughout the Association’s projects to ensure member credit unions have the space and opportunities needed to grow and develop.
ABCUL's Inclusivity Group (AIG)
The ABCUL Inclusivity Group makes recommendations to ensure that the importance of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion is reflected throughout ABCUL.
Global Women's Leadership Network (GWLN)
The British Chapter of GWLN provides women within the movement the opportunity and resources to make a measurable difference in the lives of each other, their credit unions and their local communities.
ABCUL's Young Professionals Network
The ABCUL Young Professionals Network is the national platform for young credit union leaders to engage and promote the credit union movement.
We are a Living Wage Employer
We are delighted to be an accredited Living Wage Employer by the Living Wage Foundation. ABCUL meets the standards set by Citizens and the Living Wage Foundation by signing the ‘UK Living Wage Employer’ license agreement.
