ABCUL’s annual Credit Union survey

ABCUL’s annual Credit Union survey has revealed that satisfaction levels with the Association continue to rise.

The Net Promoter Score, which is calculated by taking the percentage of respondents who would strongly recommend ABCUL membership and subtracting those who wouldn’t, increased significantly this year, to 45 points, a rise of 36 since 2011                         .

This is the fourth year running that our Board has carried out a survey of both ABCUL member and non-member credit unions. The aim of the survey, which was carried out by an independent agency, is to gauge satisfaction with ABCUL products and services, monitor policies delegated to the Chief Executive by the ABCUL Board, and to learn more about the priorities and concerns of credit unions.

Nine out of ten credit unions said ABCUL membership offers good value for money and 99 per cent of members said it was likely they would renew.

ABCUL Chief Executive Mark Lyonette said: “ I am delighted to see even further improvement in members’ satisfaction with the Association. As a member-owned co-operative it’s imperative that we are listening to our members and delivering against their priorities.  We are confident that our ABCUL membership offers great value and service to credit unions of all sizes across Britain and look forward to continuing to build on the improvements we have made in the past couple of years.”
