Pendle Credit Union opens new premises

Pendle Community Credit Union has now officially opened its new permanent office in Colne, located in the restored historic Arcade of Shackleton Hall which opened in 1888, the home of the first Co-operative main office and stores in Colne.
Pendle Credit Union has 3,472 adult, and 500 junior members and has provided loans to members to the value of £2.2 million.
The opening ceremony was performed by Ann Marie Wrigley and David Penney, founders of the former Colne & District Credit Union.
