The case for credit union services to be the primary expansion of Post Office Banking. 

Investment in a credit union back-office could make full credit union services available to Post Office customers. This would provide a real alternative to the banks. 

The Government response to this consultation paper saw a ‘natural distribution partnership’ for credit unions through the Post Office network.
