New Opportunities

Changes to the law governing credit unions means that there are many more opportunities for credit unions to extend their services to new groups, including community groups and businesses.  New products, such as interest bearing accounts will also be developed. 

ABCUL has worked closely with the Government over the past 5 years to secure the changes, which will mean that organisations such as employers and housing providers will find it much easier to work with credit unions.
